Big Idea Design applies the same titanium-first engineering behind their pens and tools to a focused lineup of fixed blades and folders. Every knife ships with Kydex sheaths or deep carry clips designed for pocket carry, and every blade is backed by a lifetime warranty.
The USA Lookout is the cornerstone of the lineup — a compact fixed blade designed in collaboration with ABS Journeyman Smith Mak Kelsay. The Made in USA version runs MagnaCut steel in both clip point and tanto blade profiles with G-10, natural Micarta, or titanium handle options. At 6.2 inches overall with a 2.2-inch blade, it disappears in the pocket while still delivering real cutting capability. Each USA Lookout ships with two Kydex sheaths for left and right pocket carry plus a titanium deep carry clip. The Ti Lookout runs the same design on M390 steel with Grade 5 titanium scales for an all-titanium configuration.
The Signal steps up to a full-sized fixed blade with a 3.2-inch Nitro-V drop point running at 61-62 HRC. Built for EDC and field use equally, it comes in black G-10 or natural Micarta with titanium hardware. Like the Lookout, it ships with two Kydex sheaths and a titanium pocket clip. Made in USA.
The AUX MFG Pocket Bowie is a collaboration with Michael Jarvis of Auxiliary Manufacturing. It pairs M390 steel at 61 HRC with Grade 5 titanium scales in a bowie blade profile measuring 2.8 inches — a modern take on a classic American blade shape built for pocket carry.
The Ti Pocket Knife II runs M390 steel on ceramic ball bearings with a Grade 5 titanium frame lock. The inline flipper and dual thumb studs give deployment options, and a reversible deep carry clip keeps it low in the pocket. The original Ti Pocket Knife features the same titanium frame-lock platform in S35VN steel. The Overlook translates the Lookout's fixed blade design language into a compact folder with M390 steel, a two-screw titanium frame, and ceramic ball bearings — another Mak Kelsay collaboration that closes down to 3.6 inches.
