The Bradford Guardian 5 is the long-blade survival member of Bradford Knives' Guardian fixed blade line. It keeps the proven Guardian 4 grip and adds reach, pairing the same in-hand feel with a 5.5-inch blade and nearly five inches of cutting edge.
Guardian 4 Grip, Longer Blade
If you like how the Guardian 4 sits in the hand but want more blade for chopping, batoning, and reach, the 5 delivers exactly that. The grip size and geometry carry straight over from the 4. Only the blade grows, giving you more cutting edge and leverage without having to relearn the knife.
Built Heavy in CPM 3V
Every Guardian 5 here runs CPM 3V at .200-inch stock. On a blade this long, toughness rules, and 3V resists the chipping and rolling that hard impact work inflicts on lesser steels. 3V trades stainless behavior for that toughness, so it benefits from light blade maintenance.
Ballistic Nylon Multi-Mount Sheath
Unlike the leather-sheathed Guardians, the 5 ships standard with a ballistic nylon sheath that mounts in multiple orientations for belt, pack, or rig carry. Kydex is available separately.
Micarta and Carbon Fiber Handles
Choose 3D contoured Natural or Black Micarta, or 3D Carbon Fiber to cut weight. Finishes include stonewashed, Black DLC, and Nimbus, with a black fastener option on select builds.
