The Outlaw from Hammer Down Forge is a compact, well-balanced fixed blade suited to everyday carry or light field use. This version pairs a darkwash MagnaCut blade with striped blue Micarta handles for a knife that's as practical as it is distinctive.

Blade

The 4" blade is forged from MagnaCut, a modern powder steel built for high edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and toughness that holds up to repeated use. The darkwash finish gives the blade a mottled, worn-in look while adding a layer of surface protection. At 0.138" thick, the blade stays agile enough for detail work without feeling fragile.

Handle

The handle is striped blue Micarta, a composite made from layered linen or canvas fabric set in resin. Micarta is prized for its durability and grip, even when wet, and develops a smooth patina with use. Overall weight comes in at 4.62oz, keeping the knife light for its size.

Carry
