The Hellbender Mudpup 5 Gen 2 is designed as an ideal camp knife, featuring enhanced ergonomics and stability. In this second generation model, the handles have been made thicker and the outer hardware has been adjusted to provide a more stable hold that fills the hand naturally.

Blade

The 4.625" drop point blade is crafted from MagnaCut steel at 0.156" thick. This premium stainless steel offers exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance, making it an excellent choice for field use. The tumbled finish adds to its durability while providing a distinctive aesthetic appeal.

Handle

The handle features black and gray G-10 scales with beautifully machined fluting. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate known for its water resistance, strength, and ability not to crack or become slippery when wet. The updated design includes thicker handles and repositioned outer hardware for improved grip stability.

Carry

The knife comes with a quality leather sheath by JRE Industries, suitable for various carry options in the field. As this is a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism; the blade and handle form a continuous piece of steel.
