The Heretic Nyx is an automatic tanto knife designed for tactical applications and hard use. It combines a reinforced tanto tip with rapid one-handed deployment, making it ideal for self-defense and emergency situations where controlled piercing is needed.

Blade

The 3.62" tanto blade uses MagnaCut steel at 0.14" thick. MagnaCut is a modern powder metallurgy steel known for its excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. The two-tone finish highlights the blade's geometry, which features an angular transition creating a reinforced secondary point. This design excels at piercing tasks but sacrifices some slicing utility. The tanto's tip strength is exceptional, making it suitable for tactical applications.

Handle

The black aluminum chassis is lightweight at 3.6oz and has a handle thickness of 0.45". Aluminum is durable and resistant to corrosion, though it may lack the grip texture of more tactile materials. The automatic mechanism allows for rapid deployment with one hand.

Carry

Includes a reversible pocket clip for right or left-hand tip-down carry. The overall length is 8.66" when deployed and 5.04" when closed.
