Hinderer TacTool
The Hinderer HS TacTool is a one piece titanium pocket tool built by Rick Hinderer and Steel Flame, the HS in its name, and introduced in August 2015. It packs a mini prybar, bottle opener, and 1/4 inch bit holder into a 3.31 inch body that doubles as a money clip, and it rounds out the Hinderer pens, TacTools, and kubatons collection from Rick Hinderer Knives.

The mini prybar handles the small jobs that would otherwise chip a knife tip, like lifting staples, popping lids, and opening paint cans. The bottle opener earns its keep at the end of the day, and the 1/4 inch bit holder accepts standard hex bits so the TacTool works as a driver for quick fixes on the go.
6Al4V Titanium Money Clip
The TacTool is machined from 6Al4V titanium, 0.16 inch thick and about 0.8 ounces, so it adds almost nothing to your pocket. Texture on both faces gives grip when you put force on the prybar, and the clip holds cash flat as a money clip or rides on a pocket edge just like the clip on a Hinderer knife. It is made in the USA in anodized and stonewashed finishes.

The TacTool's clip and filler slots use standard Hinderer spacing, so it accepts any Rick Hinderer Knives or Steel Flame Hinderer clip and filler tab. That makes it easy to match your knife, and our Hinderer universal hardware carries clip and filler tab sets, no slot clips, and Warthog engraved clips in anodized and working finishes.
Pairing the TacTool With Your Carry
The TacTool is built to ride alongside a folder, not replace one. Pair it with an XM-18 3.5 and a matching clip for a coordinated carry, or add an Investigator pen for a full Hinderer pocket setup.
