The Hinderer Jurassic is Rick's most ergonomic folder, with a flowing, humpbacked handle and mild finger cutouts that set it apart from the angular XM series, and its scales and backspacers are cut to match that shape. Jurassic Hardware Kits
A complete kit swaps the full hardware set in one pass, in brass, copper, working finish, and blue or bronze anodized titanium. Brass and copper build a patina with time and handling, while anodized titanium keeps its color and stays light. The Jurassic shares its handle screws with the Half Track and MP-1, so titanium screw sets in blue, bronze, battle blue, and battle bronze work across all three.
Jurassic Titanium and Carbon Fiber Scales
The show side scale sets the feel of that sculpted grip. Textured titanium scales in working finish, stonewash, blue, bronze, battle blue, and battle bronze add traction for hard cuts, while smooth titanium in blue, bronze, and stonewash slides cleanly in and out of a pocket. A smooth carbon fiber scale gives the Jurassic a lighter, more technical look.
Jurassic HMBS Backspacers
The Jurassic comes standard with the Hinderer Modular Backspacer System, so the backspacer swaps with just an Allen wrench. Smooth backspacers in blue and bronze anodized titanium or stainless steel change the spine's look in seconds. Stainless adds a touch of weight at the butt, while titanium keeps the knife light, with more options in our HMBS hardware.
