The Hinderer Jurassic is Rick Hinderer's most ergonomics-driven folder, a knife that keeps the brand's hard-use build but wraps it in a flowing handle with deep finger grooves that fill the hand. In size it slots neatly between the XM-18 3 inch and the 3.5 inch, making it one of the more carry-friendly options in the lineup without giving up capability.
Current production Jurassic models run a drop point blade in CPM MagnaCut, the current benchmark for balancing edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, with slicer and other grinds offered across releases and 20CV on earlier runs. The knife carries the hardware Hinderer is known for, a titanium framelock with steel lockbar insert and overtravel stop, the Tri-Way Pivot System for tuning the action between bearings and washers, and a two tone titanium and G-10 handle. Every Jurassic is machined in the USA.
