Hinderer Maximus Hardware
The Hinderer Maximus is Rick Hinderer's symmetrical folding dagger, and almost nothing on it is shared with the rest of the lineup. Its clip, filler tab, standoffs, and scales are all cut for its frame, so this page collects the Maximus specific parts in one place to make matching your knife simple.
Maximus Hardware Kits
A complete kit swaps the full hardware set in one pass, in brass, copper, working finish, and blue or bronze anodized titanium. On a symmetrical knife the hardware reads from both sides, so a matched kit gives the cleanest look. Brass and copper build a patina over time, while anodized titanium holds its color and keeps the knife light.
Maximus Clip and Filler Tab
Standard Hinderer clips will not fit the Maximus. Its butt mounted clip and filler tab are made for this knife alone, and because of the handle design it carries tip up only, moving side to side rather than end to end. Clip and filler tab sets come in blue, bronze, battle blue, and battle bronze anodized titanium. Match the clip to your hardware kit for a uniform look, or pick a contrasting color to set it off.
Maximus Standoffs and Scale Sets
Individual standoffs in brass, copper, working finish, and blue or bronze anodized titanium add contrast along the frame. For the overlays, smooth and textured carbon fiber scale sets give the dagger a lighter, more technical look than the factory G-10, with the textured version adding grip where the symmetrical handle needs it most.
