The Medford Jungle Fighter is a close quarters combat fixed blade designed by Greg Medford and built by Medford Knife & Tool in Phoenix, Arizona. It pairs a 5.25 inch spear point with full tang construction on 0.29 inch stock, so it holds up to hard use without flexing.
A false edge along the spine takes mass off the point for better penetration without making the blade a true double edge. Aggressive spine hooks near the handle give you purchase for retention and manipulation, and a deep index choil lets you choke up for fine control or slide back to extend the pommel as a striking surface. G-10 scales and a Kydex sheath keep the Jungle Fighter low profile on a tactical belt or kit.
The Pro Series Jungle Fighter measures 11 inches overall and weighs 15.6 ounces. Choose tumbled CPM 3V for maximum toughness in black or OD green, or tumbled S45VN stainless for edge retention and corrosion resistance in OD green. Our knife steel guide breaks down 3V against S45VN. For another Medford fighter, look at the USMC Fighter or the compact FUK, and for a bigger chopper, the Bonfire.
