The Medford Infraction is the mid size titanium frame lock in the Medford Knife & Tool lineup, made in Phoenix, Arizona with a MagnaCut blade. It sits in the not too big, not too small range that works for almost any occasion, which makes it one of the easiest Medfords to put into an everyday carry rotation.
The Infraction opens two ways: through the blade hole and fuller combination, or with a low profile flipper tab. It carries Medford's overbuilt approach in a smaller frame, a 0.19 inch thick blade and full titanium handle at 5.9 ounces, landing between the slim Antik and the full size Praetorian. Most Infractions wear Medford's sculpted titanium, from Shou Sugi Ban and hammered patterns to solar flare finishes, so each folding knife has its own look.
Every Infraction runs a 3.625 inch MagnaCut blade, 4.37 inches closed and 8 inches open. Choose a tumbled, satin, or old school tumbled blade paired with anodized, flamed, or old school blue and flamed titanium. MagnaCut balances edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance in one stainless steel, and our knife steel guide shows how it compares. For another MagnaCut Medford, look at the bigger Marauder or the TFF-1 Fat Daddy.
