The Medford TFF Series is a family of titanium frame lock flippers from Medford Knife & Tool, made in Phoenix, Arizona. It started with the TFF-1, which Medford built for military and law enforcement as a tactical folder that can augment or replace a fixed blade where fixed blades are restricted or space is tight.
The TFF-1 is an ambidextrous design with a 4 inch S90V blade on 0.19 inch stock, 9.5 inches open, in finishes like PVD with blue titanium and sculpted titanium such as Jasmine Fields and textured. The TFF-1 Fat Daddy keeps the 4 inch blade but goes to 0.26 inch stock at 13.5 ounces, in tumbled MagnaCut, acid distressed MagnaCut, or Vulcan S35VN, one of the heaviest Medford folding knives we carry.
The TFF-4 brings the series down to everyday size: a 3.5 inch blade on 0.15 inch stock, 8 inches open, at 4.8 ounces, with titanium handles and G-10 inlays. Choose a drop point or tanto in S35VN, S45VN, or S90V. Our knife steel guide compares S90V, MagnaCut, S45VN, and S35VN. For more big Medford frame locks, look at the Marauder and USMC Fighter Flipper.
