Microtech Hera
The Microtech Hera wears a goddess's name and has quietly become one of the widest-ranging families in the catalog. What started as a contoured, EDC-friendly dual-action OTF on rounded lines now brackets the entire size spectrum: the Hera II swings one of the biggest blades in the out-the-front world, while the Hera II Mini weighs barely two ounces.
Every one of them carries the family signatures — a clean, contoured chassis, a milled titanium clip with a glider ball that spares your pocket seams, and USA machining like the rest of the Microtech lineup.
Hera II
The second generation grew up, stretching to a 4-inch blade with substantial handle real estate underneath it. The drive system fires harder than before while the slide got easier to run, and Crudd Cutter serrations beneath the switch channel pocket lint out before it can gum the action. Torx hardware, a deep-engraved claw logo, a lanyard hole machined into the chassis itself, and a sleeker glass breaker round out a knife that turned the friendly Hera into a legitimate large-format worker.
Hera II Mini
The Mini runs the other direction: a blade just under three inches in a package around 6.9 inches and two ounces, which makes it one of the lightest serious OTFs in production. Internal screws leave the chassis nearly seamless, and the redesigned 6AL4V titanium clip and integrated glass breaker carry the full-size feature set down without the weight. For pockets that found even the UTX class substantial, this is the answer.
