Pro-Tech Oligarch
The Pro-Tech Oligarch is Belarusian designer Dmitry Sinkevich's take on a side opening automatic, built by Pro-Tech in California. Sinkevich is the name behind the Zero Tolerance 0454, Blade Show's 2013 Overall Knife of the Year, and the ZT Sinkevich flippers that followed. In 2024 an Ultimate Custom Oligarch won Investor/Collector Knife of the Year, adding to the collector record covered in our Pro-Tech brand history.
Pro-Tech Oligarch Specs
The blade is a 3.25 inch modified sheepsfoot on 0.125 inch stock, with a sharp upper swedge that gives it Sinkevich's signature look. The Oligarch is about 7.6 inches open and 4.4 inches closed and weighs 2.89 ounces. The pivot rides on washers, and the clip is set for right hand tip up carry.
MagnaCut Blade and Automatic Action
Every Oligarch on our shelf runs CPM MagnaCut, the stainless that combines real toughness with outstanding corrosion resistance, and our knife steel guide shows how it compares. The near-straight edge and fine tip make it a precise slicer. A press of the button fires the coil spring, and the same button releases the lock to close.
Oligarch Colors and Finishes
Handles run black, blue, and green anodized aluminum, with a textured blue option. Blades come stonewashed, in black DLC, or in smoky grey DLC, and one blue build carries a pearl button. The working version is a black handle with a sterile black DLC blade and a tritium button, so it is easy to find in low light.
