The Briarpatch Jack is a traditional two-bladed cigar-pattern knife designed by Andy Armstrong for RoseCraft Blades. It pairs a clip point and a lambsfoot blade in one compact slipjoint, making it a solid choice for collectors and everyday carry users who appreciate classic pattern knives with two distinct cutting profiles.

Blade

This knife carries a 3.2" clip point blade at one end and a 3.1" lambsfoot blade at the other, both ground from 14C28N steel with a brushed satin finish. 14C28N is a Swedish stainless steel known for taking a fine edge easily and resisting corrosion, making it well suited to slipjoint knives that see daily use. Both blades feature heavy swedging and a half stop for controlled opening.

Handle

The covers are hand-jigged Red Jigged Bone, individually worked rather than machine-textured, so the color and grain pattern vary from knife to knife for a vintage, worn-in look. Brushed steel bolsters, steel liners, and nickel silver pins complete the construction, along with a stainless steel Rose Bomb shield. At just 4.2oz, it carries light in the pocket.

Carry

As a slipjoint, this knife has no locking mechanism - each blade is held open by spring tension and secured with a half stop rather than a lock. Closed length is 4", making it easy to slip into a pocket or carry in a traditional knife pouch.
