The Briarpatch Jack is a two-bladed cigar-pattern folder designed by Andy Armstrong, built for traditional knife enthusiasts who want two distinct blade shapes in one compact package. Its slim profile makes it an easy everyday carry for pocket use.

Blade

This jack carries a 3.2" clip point and a 3.1" lambsfoot blade, both ground from 14C28N steel with a brushed satin finish. 14C28N is a Swedish stainless steel known for a good balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. Both blades feature heavy swedging and half stops, giving the clip point a fine piercing tip and the lambsfoot a strong, controlled edge for detail work.

Handle

The covers are hand-jigged Vintage Jigged Bone, dyed and finished to look worn-in with natural variation in color and texture from knife to knife. Bone is a traditional handle material prized for its grip and classic look, here set off with brushed steel bolsters, steel liners, and nickel silver pins. At 4.2oz, it carries light in the pocket.

Carry

Both blades are slipjoints, opening and closing on spring tension with a half stop rather than a locking mechanism, in keeping with traditional pocketknife design. Closed length is 4", making it compact enough for easy pocket carry without a clip.
