on Orders Over $99The RoseCraft Blades Tuckahoe Jack is a modern reimagining of traditional sleeve board jack patterns, inspired by Andy Armstrong's designs. This knife blends historical inspiration with contemporary materials and craftsmanship. It features a single-blade design that is perfect for those who appreciate both the utility and aesthetics of traditional knives.
Blade
The 2.9" spear point blade is crafted from 14C28N steel, known for its excellent balance between edge retention and ease of sharpening. This Swedish steel offers a fine grain structure with moderate hardness (57-62 HRC), making it ideal for everyday carry and light bushcraft tasks. The brushed satin finish adds to the knife's sleek appearance while providing corrosion resistance.
Handle
The handle is adorned with hand-jigged Barnboard Jigged Bone covers, complemented by brushed stainless steel bolsters, liners, and nickel silver pins. This design choice not only enhances durability but also pays homage to traditional knife-making techniques. The jigged bone adds a touch of elegance and comfort, while the RoseCraft Heart shield marks it as part of a cohesive series.
Locking Mechanism
This model employs a slipjoint mechanism, allowing for easy one-handed opening with a long pull. The half-stop feature provides additional safety by preventing overextension during use, while the heavy swedging ensures smooth operation.
At 2oz and 3.75" closed, it's lightweight and compact, making it an excellent choice for everyday carry without sacrificing strength or functionality.
