Silent Thunder Ordnance applies performance optimization principles to EDC accessories, producing Lume Inserts that install in knife lanyard holes for rapid identification in darkness. These tri-oval inserts utilize strontium aluminate phosphorescent technology, the brightest and longest-lasting glow material available without batteries or radioactive tritium. The temperature-resistant and solvent-resistant rubber construction allows simple press-fit installation into lanyard holes ranging from 4.8mm to 5mm diameter, accommodating Spyderco, Zero Tolerance, Benchmade, and Strider models without tools or adhesives. Green offers maximum brightness and duration after charging with UV light or sunlight, while blue, gold, and ultra purple provide color options for aesthetic preferences. The inserts can be trimmed with a blade to fit varying hole depths, and their placement at the top of pocket carry positions allows ambient light charging throughout the day for nighttime visibility when accessing knives from drawers, nightstands, or pockets.
