Spartan Blades Accessories
Spartan Blades accessories are the gear that rides alongside the knives: titanium pens, pewter lanyard beads, challenge coins, and a few field kit items you will actually use. Like the knives in the Spartan Blades lineup, most of it reflects where the company came from. Founders Curtis Iovito and Mark Carey are retired Army Special Forces NCOs.
Spartan Grafi Titanium Pen
The Grafi is a US-made bolt action pen machined from 6AL4V titanium. It is 5.25 inches long, weighs 1.2 ounces, and has a sculpted body and nib for grip. It runs a Schmidt easyFLOW 9000 M cartridge, and the bead blasted finish shrugs off scratches. Hardware comes in bare titanium, blue, bronze, or titanium Damascus. Lanyard Beads and Challenge Coins
The beads are US-made, lead-free pewter with an antique brass finish, sized for a double strand of 550 paracord. Designs include the Spartan Helmet, Shield, Crusader Cross, and Skull Beret, and the Shield carries "Molon Labe" in Greek on the back. Buy them loose to tie your own, or as finished lanyards on US-made 550 cord. Spartan traces its challenge coins to the Special Forces tradition. The lineup includes a 1.5 inch antiqued brass coin and a 2 inch Pineland coin marking the company's 2019 merger with KA-BAR.
Pen Protector and Field Kit
The Pen Protector turns a standard Sharpie into a MOLLE-compatible carry tool with a heavy duty clip. It was designed by Ted Valerio, a knife designer with more than two decades in law enforcement. For meals in the field or at your desk, there is the Carnivore dining set with a VG-10 knife and fork on G-10 handles. Spartan's breakdown chopsticks pair anodized titanium tips with twill carbon fiber and pack into a nylon case. The glow-in-the-dark Ranger Eye Patch rounds out the kit.
