The CQB Tool is a ring dagger purpose-built for close-quarters combat and transition work. At just over 2 ounces with a 2.875-inch saber-ground blade, it's designed to stow behind front pouches or magazines on MOLLE/PALS platforms—accessible when primary weapons aren't an option.
The 154CM steel blade is heat treated to 57-59 HRC with double-deep cryogenic treatment for edge stability and toughness. SpartaCoat PVD finishes in Tungsten DLC (black) or ZrN (Flat Dark Earth) provide corrosion resistance and eliminate glare. The half-sharpened geometry is intentional—this is a transition tool, meant for breaking grips and creating distance to return to your primary weapon system.
The form-fitted Kydex sheath contours to the ring design for rapid draw and re-stow under stress. Carry options include MOLLE/PALS mounting, standard belt carry, or inside the waistband. The slim profile disappears on kit until you need it.
A blue anodized 6061 aluminum trainer replicates the handling and profile of the live tool for realistic combatives training without injury risk. It fits the standard CQB sheath for seamless integration into training protocols.
The CQB Tool was developed in collaboration with Greg Thompson—founder of H2H/Team ROC and developer of the combatives program for U.S. Army Special Operations Forces—alongside Curtis Iovito, Mark Carey, and a former Special Forces unit at USAJFKSWCS. Made in the USA.
