Item: SF16-WIND-SW
The Pandia Wind is the third release in the Spartan Blades and Tu Lam collaboration known as the Ronin Five Rings Project, drawing on Miyamoto Musashi's Book of Five Rings. This edition represents the Wind element, the study of awareness and adaptability, and is built for collectors and everyday carry users who want a refined titanium framelock with meaningful design behind it.
Blade
The 3.25" spear point blade is made from CPM MagnaCut with a stonewash finish. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel that balances edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance better than most traditional blade steels, making it a strong choice for daily use. The high flat grind improves slicing performance, and a sharpening choil is included so the edge can be properly maintained over the life of the knife.
Handle
The handle is built from 6AL4V titanium, chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio in a thin, lightweight frame. This edition features machined artwork depicting Tu Lam as a stylized samurai, moving through a modern special operations mission, giving the handle a distinctive visual identity beyond a standard framelock. Total weight is just 4 ounces.
Carry
Deployment is handled by a flipper tab running on the IKBS bearing system, giving smooth and repeatable opening. The frame lock uses a section of the titanium handle itself to lock the blade open, keeping the design clean and part count low. A monolithic titanium pocket clip is machined to match the handle contour and can be set up for right or left hand, tip up carry.
Made in the USA.
