Vehement K2
The Vehement K2 is the second iteration of the Kuto Misa, one of the most popular designs from Matt Martin and the Vehement Knives shop. A SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) instructor in Europe asked for changes to the Kuto, put the prototype through its paces, and everyone involved liked the result so much that Matt added it to the regular roster as the K2. It is available only through DLT.
A 5.25 Inch Field and Survival Knife
At 10.25 inches overall, the K2 is not a small knife, but it handles far more nimbly than its size suggests. The 5.25 inch drop point blade is ground from .185 inch stock for the backbone to chop, baton, and pry, and the whole knife weighs about 9.1 ounces. It is built for real field and survival work.
CPM-154 Steel and Ferro Rod Spine
The CPM-154 blade holds an impressive edge and resists corrosion in the field. Just ahead of the top quillon, the spine is ground to a crisp 90 degrees for throwing sparks from a ferro rod, and Vehement's signature radiused choil makes sharpening and choking up easy. Micarta Handles and Blade Finishes
Handles come in Natural, OD, and Double Black Micarta in satin, gloss, and matte finishes, with red, blue, or black liners and some builds adding mosaic pins. Skin Bender Leather Sheath
