Blade

The 3.25" trailing point blade is made from MagnaCut steel at 0.125" thick. MagnaCut is a modern powder metallurgy steel that delivers high edge retention alongside strong corrosion resistance and toughness, making it a reliable choice for a knife that sees daily use in varied conditions. The trailing point shape keeps the belly curved for efficient slicing while the tip stays fine for detail work.

Handle

The handle is built from Micarta, a composite made by layering linen or canvas fabric with resin under heat and pressure. Micarta is valued for its durability and grip, especially when hands are wet. At 3.75oz total, the Hawkeye stays light in the pocket or on a belt.

Carry

The Hawkeye ships with a leather sheath designed for belt carry, keeping the blade secured and easily accessible. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism - the tang runs solidly through the handle for a one-piece, dependable construction.
