Blade

The 3.25" trailing point blade is made from MagnaCut steel at 0.125" thick. MagnaCut is a modern powder metallurgy steel that delivers strong edge retention, excellent corrosion resistance, and good toughness, making it a favorite among makers for both hard use and fine cutting tasks. The trailing point shape gives an upswept edge that's well suited to slicing and detail cuts.

Handle

The handle uses green linen Micarta with black liners and pins. Micarta is made by layering linen fabric with resin under heat and pressure, resulting in a durable, textured material that holds up well to repeated use and offers a secure grip. At just 3.75oz, the Hawkeye carries light on the belt or around the neck.

Carry

The Hawkeye ships with a leather sheath for belt carry. As a fixed blade, there's no lock to worry about - the tang and handle are one solid piece, and the sheath holds the knife securely in place until you need it.
