Blade

The 3.25" trailing point blade is made from MagnaCut steel at 0.125" thick. MagnaCut is a modern powder steel prized for its excellent edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and toughness, making it a top choice for knives that see daily use. The trailing point shape lifts the tip above the spine, giving extra belly for slicing tasks.

Handle

The handle is built from red linen Micarta with black canvas liners. Micarta is a composite made from linen or canvas fabric layered with resin under pressure, resulting in a durable, grippy material that only improves with wear. At 3.75oz, the Hawkeye stays light in the hand or on a belt.

Carry

The Hawkeye ships with a leather sheath, allowing for simple belt carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism - the tang runs solid through the handle for a strong, one-piece construction.
