Blade

The 4" trailing point blade is made from MagnaCut, a modern powder steel developed specifically for knives. MagnaCut delivers excellent edge retention alongside strong corrosion resistance and toughness, a combination that's hard to find in older steels. At 0.156" thick, the blade has enough backbone for field tasks while the trailing point profile gives extra belly for skinning and slicing.

Handle

The handle uses black canvas Micarta, a material made by compressing linen or canvas fabric with resin under heat and pressure. Micarta is durable, grips well when wet, and develops a smooth patina with use. At 6.07oz, the knife balances well for extended field work.

Carry

This fixed blade ships with a leather sheath for belt carry. As a fixed blade there's no lock mechanism to worry about - the tang runs through the handle for a solid, one-piece feel, and the leather sheath keeps the blade secure and easily accessible in the field.
