The 7Forge Hawkeye Hunter is a purpose-built hunting knife designed for field dressing and game processing. This exclusive Evergreen Burlap Micarta version is well suited to hunters who want premium steel and a durable handle in a knife made for real work in the field.

Blade

The 4" trailing point blade is made from MagnaCut steel at 0.156" thick. MagnaCut is a modern powder metallurgy steel that delivers excellent edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and good toughness, making it a top choice for hunting knives that see moisture and repeated skinning work. The trailing point profile curves upward toward the tip, giving extra belly for skinning and slicing game.

Handle

The handle uses Evergreen Burlap Micarta with natural canvas liners and brass pins. Micarta is made by compressing layers of canvas or linen fabric with resin under heat and pressure, resulting in a tough, grippy material that holds up well when wet. At 6.07oz, the knife is light enough for extended use in the field.

Carry

The Hawkeye Hunter ships with a leather sheath for belt carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism to engage - the tang runs solid through the handle for maximum strength during hard field use.
