The Hawkeye Hunter is an exclusive 7Forge Knives design built for hunters who want premium materials in a purpose-built skinning and field dressing knife. Its trailing point blade shape and compact proportions make it well suited to detail work around game.

Blade

The 4" trailing point blade is made from MagnaCut steel at 0.156" thick. MagnaCut is a modern powder metallurgy steel developed specifically to balance edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance better than older stainless options, making it a strong choice for a knife that will see wet, messy field conditions. The trailing point profile curves upward toward the tip, giving extra belly for skinning and slicing tasks.

Handle

This model uses Micarta handle scales in a Kali Burlap pattern with black liners and pins. Micarta is a composite made from layers of fabric or fiber saturated in resin and compressed under heat, resulting in a durable, textured material that holds up well when wet. At 6.07oz, it stays light and easy to control during detail work.

Carry

The Hawkeye Hunter ships with a leather sheath for belt carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism - the tang runs through the handle as one solid piece, giving it the strength needed for hard field use.
