The 4" trailing point blade is made from MagnaCut steel at 0.156" thick. MagnaCut is a modern powder metallurgy steel that delivers excellent edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and impressive toughness, making it well suited for hard use around game and moisture. The trailing point profile sweeps upward at the tip, giving extra belly for skinning and precise control during detail work.

Handle

Handles are crafted from Koa, a dense Hawaiian hardwood prized for its rich grain and warm coloring, paired here with black canvas Micarta liners for contrast and added durability. Mosaic pins secure the scales to the tang. At 6.07oz, the knife balances well in hand without feeling heavy.

Carry

The Hawkeye Hunter ships with a leather sheath, offering a traditional look and solid protection for the blade. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism - the full tang construction provides the strength and reliability that hunters depend on in the field.
