The 4" trailing point blade is made from MagnaCut, a modern powder-metallurgy steel that delivers excellent edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and toughness that outperforms most traditional stainless steels. The trailing point profile sweeps upward at the tip, adding belly for skinning and caping work. At 0.156" thick, the blade has enough backbone for field use without adding unnecessary weight.

Handle

The handle is built from maroon linen Micarta, a composite made by resin-impregnating layers of linen fabric under heat and pressure. Micarta is prized for its durability, grip in wet conditions, and the way it ages with use. Natural canvas liners and mosaic pins add contrast and detail to the handle construction.
