MagnaCut Fixed Blade with Micarta Handles

The Hawkeye Hunter is an exclusive 7Forge design built for hunters and outdoorsmen who want premium materials in a purpose-built skinning and field dressing knife.

Blade

The 4" trailing point blade is made from MagnaCut steel at 0.156" thick. MagnaCut is a modern powder metallurgy steel that delivers exceptional edge retention alongside strong corrosion resistance and toughness, making it well suited to game processing where the blade sees moisture and repeated contact with bone and cartilage. The trailing point profile keeps the tip elevated for controlled skinning strokes with plenty of belly for skinning and caping work.

Handle

The handle is natural burlap Micarta with black canvas liners and pins. Micarta is a resin-impregnated fabric composite, and the burlap weave gives it a warm, textured surface that stays grippy even when wet. At 6.07oz, the knife balances well for extended field use without adding unnecessary weight to a pack.

Carry

The Hawkeye Hunter ships with a leather sheath for belt carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock to engage - the full construction relies on a solid tang and a secure sheath fit for safe carry in the field.
