Blade

The 4" trailing point blade is made from MagnaCut, a modern steel prized for its balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. MagnaCut holds an edge through extended use while resisting chipping, and its stainless properties make it well suited to the wet, messy conditions of field dressing game. At 0.156" thick, the blade has enough backbone for detail work without feeling flimsy.

Handle

The handle uses natural canvas Micarta, a material made by compressing linen or canvas fabric with resin under heat and pressure. It offers a secure, textured grip that only improves when wet, and its natural coloring gives each handle subtle variation. At just over 6oz, the knife carries light in the hand for extended use.

Carry

The Hawkeye Hunter ships with a leather sheath for belt carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock to manage - the full construction is solid and ready to draw for immediate use in the field.
