The Hawkeye Hunter is an exclusive collaboration from 7Forge Knives, built as a dedicated hunting and field dressing knife. Its trailing point blade and traditional stacked leather handle give it a classic look suited to hunters who want premium materials in a purpose-built package.

Blade

The 4" trailing point blade is ground from MagnaCut at 0.156" thick. MagnaCut is a modern powder metallurgy steel developed specifically to balance edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness - it holds an edge longer than most stainless steels while resisting rust in wet field conditions. The trailing point profile curves upward at the tip, adding belly for skinning and slicing tasks.

Handle

The handle is built from stacked leather with black canvas liners and mosaic pins. Stacked leather is made by compressing and bonding individual leather washers under the tang, creating a handle with warmth and texture in hand. The canvas liners and mosaic pins add contrast and a refined, traditional detail. At 6.07oz, the knife carries light for a full-tang hunter.

Carry

The Hawkeye Hunter ships with a leather sheath sized for belt carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock to engage or disengage - the leather sheath provides secure retention with a traditional snap or friction fit, keeping the knife ready and protected in the field.
