Blade

The 4" trailing point blade is made from MagnaCut steel at 0.156" thick. MagnaCut is a modern powder metallurgy steel that delivers excellent edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and enough toughness to hold up to hard use - a rare combination that makes it a favorite among custom and semi-custom makers. The trailing point profile sweeps the tip upward, giving extra belly for skinning and caping game.

Handle

The handle uses Tiffany Blue G-10 with black liners and pins over a 5" handle length. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate pressed under high pressure, prized for being lightweight, durable, and completely unaffected by moisture. At just 6.07oz, the knife carries light for a full-size hunting fixed blade.

Carry

The Hawkeye Hunter ships with a leather sheath, offering a traditional look and solid retention for belt carry. As a fixed blade, there is no lock mechanism - the tang runs solid through the handle for a knife built to handle field dressing without flex or failure.
