The 4" trailing point blade is made from MagnaCut steel at 0.156" thick. MagnaCut is a modern powder metallurgy steel that delivers excellent edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and good toughness, making it well suited to the wet, messy work of field dressing game. The trailing point profile puts the tip above the spine, giving a generous belly that excels at skinning and slicing cuts.

Handle

The handle is violet linen Micarta, a composite made from layers of linen fabric saturated in resin and compressed under heat. Micarta is durable, stable in wet conditions, and develops a slightly textured grip over time. Tiffany blue liners and brass pins add contrast against the violet scales.
