The full-size Claymore 9070 series is where the family started. A side-opening push-button mechanism fires the blade with authority, locked into place with Benchmade’s proven construction. CPM-D2 tool steel — a high-carbon, high-chromium alloy hardened to 60-62HRC — delivers excellent edge retention and wear resistance in a package that shrugs off hard use. Grivory handles keep the frame light without sacrificing grip, and the integrated safety adds a deliberate layer of control for on-body carry. Blade profiles span drop-point and tanto across the lineup, with tanto geometry reinforcing the tip for piercing tasks and defensive applications. The 9570 Mini Claymore replicates this same push-button architecture in a compact form factor purpose-built for everyday carry — same DNA, significantly reduced footprint.
The 3370 Claymore series takes a different mechanical approach. These double-action, front-deploying models extend and retract the blade by operating in either direction. The full-size 3370 and compact 3375 cover the same range of carry preferences — full-grip control for demanding work versus a lightweight EDC option that disappears in a pocket. Ball-bearing matrix texturing across all Claymore handles ensures a positive grip in wet or gloved conditions, and the deep-carry clip keeps the knife indexed and accessible without printing.
