Benchmade Rescue Tool
Benchmade rescue knives are built for EMTs, firefighters, police, and anyone who might have to cut someone out of a car. The Triage puts three tools in one frame: a partially serrated Böhler N680 blade, a 440C hook shaped safety cutter for seatbelts and clothing, and a carbide glass breaker in the butt. N680 is a nitrogen steel chosen for corrosion resistance, so blood, rain, and saltwater do not ruin it. Both models are made in Oregon City and backed by the Benchmade lifetime warranty and LifeSharp service.
Benchmade 916SBK Triage
The manual Triage opens with ambidextrous thumb studs and locks on the AXIS Lock, which you can release with either hand, even in gloves. Its 3.5 inch opposing bevel blade has a blunt tip, so you can cut clothing or straps close to a patient without a point near the skin. Black textured G10 over full stainless liners and a reversible tip up deep carry clip keep it ready on a uniform pocket.
Benchmade 9170SBK Auto Triage
The Auto Triage moves the platform to an AXIS automatic in a black aluminum and G10 handle. Pull the AXIS bar and a partially serrated N680 sheepsfoot fires open, the safety hook also deploys automatically, and a slide safety on the spine prevents accidental opening. Triage vs the SOCP Rescue Tool
