The X Limited is the newest evolution of Griffin Co.'s fixed blade lineup. Where the Scout 2.5 is a flat ground workhorse, the X Limited takes a different approach — a longer, slender blade with a hollow grind that's built to slice. The CPM MagnaCut drop point runs 2.875 inches of cutting edge on a skeletonized tang at 7 inches overall, weighing just 1.875 ounces with G-10 scales. The contoured handle gives you a full grip despite the slim profile, and T8 titanium hardware holds the build together. Griffin ships every X Limited with a taco-style Kydex sheath, vertical and horizontal belt loop, heavy black ball chain for neck carry, and a 3D-printed ITP clip by BMKT for low-profile pocket carry. That's three carry methods out of the box — belt, neck, or pocket. Scale options include carbon fiber, burgundy carbon fiber, stonewashed brass, and canvas Micarta in black, green, and natural. Blade finishes span belt satin, stonewash, blackwash, hand rubbed, and PVD.
The X-Series Bolster Lock shares the X Limited's design DNA in a locking folder format. It's the largest folder in the Griffin catalog — 8.375 inches overall with a 3.5-inch hollow ground CPM MagnaCut drop point deployed via front flipper on ceramic bearings at 3.375 ounces. Despite the name, this knife functions as a titanium framelock — the titanium runs the full length of the handle with an overlay, giving the appearance of a bolster while maintaining a true framelock mechanism with a stainless steel insert. Available in right and left-hand configurations with brass and Ultem handle options. For a more compact fixed blade, check out the Griffin Scout 2.5 here. Browse the full Griffin Co. lineup here.
