Heretic Manticore S
The Heretic Manticore S is the smallest Manticore, packing the same double action OTF features as its bigger siblings into a 6.5 inch knife that weighs 1.7 ounces. Manticore S vs Manticore E and Manticore X
The Manticore S runs a 2.625 inch blade at 6.5 inches open and about 3.97 inches closed. Step up to the Manticore E and you get a 3.19 inch blade at 7.9 inches and 3.3 ounces, or go to the Manticore X for a 3.7 inch blade at 9.25 inches. The S gives up reach for a footprint that rides in a coin pocket or dress slacks without notice.
Full Size Features in a Compact OTF
Despite its size, the S keeps the stepped thumb slide that fires and retracts the blade with one hand, a hardened steel glass breaker at the base, a lanyard hole, and a reversible deep carry titanium clip. Grenade Grip, Frag, and Cel Shading
The aluminum handle comes with Grenade Grip or Frag textures for grip in wet or gloved hands, or with inlays in jade G-10, Ultem, camo carbon fiber, and marbled carbon fiber. Hand painted cel shading in yellow, turquoise, red, toxic green, and Miami Vice themes, plus Magma UV finishes, make the S as much a collector piece as a carry knife. Every one is made in the USA.
