Rick Hinderer builds his pens the same way he builds his knives: modular, so the hardware can be swapped and upgraded. These Hinderer pen accessories let you change the ends, clip, O-rings, and refill on your pen, and they round out the Hinderer pens, TacTools, and kubatons collection from Rick Hinderer Knives.
The Hinderer Investigator ships with a rounded end that threads off for one of three replacements. The bullet end is a smooth, tapered point, the flat end gives a clean square profile, and the warhead end has a more aggressive striking tip for close quarters use. Each comes in stainless steel, black stainless, or titanium in blue, bronze, or flamed finishes, so you can match your pen or contrast it.
Replacement pocket clip and screw sets come in bare and black finishes for when you want a new look or need a spare. O-ring sets in black and burnt orange keep the threads snug and add a little color at the joints, and they are an easy refresh on a pen that has seen years of carry.
Every Hinderer pen, including the Hinderer Extreme Duty, runs a full size Fisher Space Pen pressurized refill that writes upside down, in the cold, and in the wet. Hinderer ships a bold point, and the fine point refills here in black or blue ink give you a crisper line. For every size and color, see our Fisher Space Pen refills.
Like the pens themselves, Hinderer's ends and clips are CNC machined, hand finished, and checked in Rick's Shreve, Ohio shop, with 17-4 stainless and titanium chosen to survive hard strikes. For pens from other makers, browse our full range of EDC pens.
