The Spartan Blades Enyo is a compact skeletonized fixed blade built to ride around your neck, inside your waistband, or in a pocket. Spartan co-founders Curtis Iovito and Mark Carey designed it to fill the compact carry slot in the Spartan Blades lineup. The name fits: in Greek myth, Enyo was the war goddess who rode alongside Ares, and Spartan's Ares is the full-size fighter she pairs with.
The Enyo carries a 2.6875 inch drop point on 3/16 inch stock, with a skeletonized full tang handle. It runs 6.25 inches overall and weighs about 2.8 ounces. The drop point carries the blade's strength forward into the tip, and the thick stock gives a small knife real backbone.
The US-made Enyo runs CPM MagnaCut at 61 to 63 HRC with Spartan's double deep cryo, in SpartaCoat Tungsten DLC black or ZrN flat dark earth. A black S45VN build is also on our shelf. The value option is the Field Grade Enyo, made in Taiwan in AUS-8A with a black powder coat. Our knife steel guide lays out the edge retention gap between the three.
The US-made Enyo comes ready for three ways to carry. It has a form-fitted Kydex sheath in black or tan, an IWB loop, a stainless neck chain, two feet of paracord, and a lanyard with a plated pewter Spartan helmet bead. The Field Grade version ships in a molded sheath with a retention slide button, an IWB loop, and cordage.
