The Bradford Guardian 6 is the longest blade in Bradford Knives' Guardian fixed blade line. It runs a 6.5-inch drop point with a full six inches of cutting edge, built for reach and leverage that the shorter Guardians cannot match.
The Guardian 6 sits at the top of the size ladder. Its grip is the same proven design shared across the Guardian 4 and Guardian 5, so the only thing that grows is blade length, not hand feel. That reach pays off in processing kindling, trimming heavy cordage, shaping wood, and breaking down bulky material at camp.
The 6 is made for long, controlled cuts and leverage, not heavy chopping. It does not carry the blade-forward weight of a dedicated chopper, but with a baton it processes wood without complaint and gives you more usable edge than anything else Bradford makes.
A long blade takes bending and prying loads a short one never sees. CPM 3V is used here because its toughness resists the chipping and lateral stress that would crack a harder, more brittle steel under that leverage. It is not stainless, so blade maintenance matters.
