Reate EXO-D
The Reate EXO-D is the push dagger interpretation of the EXO gravity platform, and the most specialized shape in the series. A 2.7 inch double edge Elmax blade travels out of a titanium frame at the press of a button and a flick of the wrist, locking into a transverse grip that sits between the fingers rather than in the palm.
How the Reate EXO-D Deploys
Deployment follows the same button and flick pattern as the EXO-K rather than the slide lock used on the EXO-M and Mini. Press, fling, and the blade and frame rotate into the locked open position. Reverse the motion to retract. At .138 inch stock the blade is among the thickest in the line, which suits a geometry built around thrust rather than slicing.
EXO-D Materials and Carry
Elmax delivers the edge retention and corrosion resistance the series is known for, and our steel comparison guide covers how it performs against the CPM-3V and N690 used on other EXO models. Handles are machined titanium in bead blasted, contoured bead blasted, flamed, and black PVD finishes, with carbon fiber and White Storm FatCarbon inlays on select builds. The knife ships without a pocket clip and includes a Kydex sheath instead, weighing 5.8 ounces at 5.2 inches overall.
