The Leatherman Charge Plus is the premium upgrade to the Wave Plus platform and one of Leatherman's most requested multi-tools. It takes the classic Wave feature set and steps up the materials: 154CM steel on the main blade, hard-anodized aluminum handle inlays, and replaceable wire cutters. It's the tool Leatherman built for the Wave owner who wants better steel and a more refined fit and finish without stepping all the way up to MagnaCut or titanium. 19 Tools and Hard-Anodized Aluminum Handles

The Charge Plus runs 19 integrated tools in a 4-inch closed frame weighing 8.3 ounces. The 6061-T6 hard-anodized aluminum handle inlays lighten the tool versus a full stainless steel body while adding wear resistance against field abuse. The full tool set includes needlenose and regular pliers, replaceable wire and hard-wire cutters, electrical crimper, wire stripper, 154CM plain edge blade, 420HC serrated blade, saw, spring-action scissors, awl with thread loop, 8-inch ruler, can and bottle opener, wood and metal file, diamond-coated file, and two bit drivers. Every feature except the plier head locks when deployed and is one-hand operable.

154CM Main Blade and Replaceable Wire Cutters

The main blade is 2.9 inches of 154CM stainless, a harder and more corrosion-resistant steel than the 420HC used across most of the Leatherman lineup. 154CM holds an edge longer under sustained cutting and resists the surface corrosion that shows up faster on cheaper steels. The secondary blade is a fully serrated 420HC for rope, webbing, and fibrous materials. The replaceable wire cutters extend service life against hard wire and mixed-material work. When the cutters eventually wear, they swap rather than forcing you into a new tool.

Dual Bit Drivers and Spring-Action Scissors

The Charge Plus runs two bit drivers compatible with Leatherman's interchangeable bit system. Pair the tool with the Leatherman Bit Kit to add flat, Phillips, and specialty driver bits that swap in and out as tasks demand.
