Leatherman Rebar

The Leatherman Rebar is the modern reinterpretation of Tim Leatherman's original 1983 PST design and the anchor of Leatherman's Heritage line. When the PST launched, it established the pliers-based multi-tool category as a distinct tool type. The Rebar updates that same box-body, sloped-neck architecture with locking tools, replaceable wire cutters, and modern Cerakote finishes while preserving the proportions that made the original work. 17 Tools in a 4-Inch Heritage Platform

The Rebar runs 17 integrated tools in a 4-inch closed frame weighing 6.7 ounces. The tool set includes needlenose and regular pliers, replaceable wire and hard-wire cutters, electrical crimper, wire stripper, two 420HC blades, saw, wood and metal file, awl with thread loop, can and bottle opener, inch and centimeter rulers, and small, medium, and large screwdrivers. Every feature except the plier head locks when deployed. The Rebar was the first 4-inch Leatherman to carry replaceable wire cutters, a feature previously reserved for the larger Super Tool platform.

420HC Dual Blades and 154CM Replaceable Cutters

The Rebar runs two 420HC stainless steel blades: a 2.9-inch plain edge drop point and a fully serrated secondary blade for rope and fibrous materials. 420HC sharpens easily and performs reliably across the range of cutting work this tool sees. The replaceable wire cutters are 154CM, which gives the cutters a harder edge and longer service life against wire, nails, and mixed-material tasks. When they eventually wear, the cutters swap rather than forcing you into a new tool.

Cerakote Colorways and Stainless Options
